Little Dude is on the petite size. I made him 4T pants with a 5T length. They fit him well. The Fly Pants have a looser fit at the top, then slim down more at the ankles for more of fitted look. I think it gives it a cool style, which is hard to find in boys sewing patterns.
Little Dude really liked the front pocket. The pocket was easy to attach and is very roomy. I think the pocket was his favorite part of the pants. Okay, maybe he liked playing with the pocket a lot…
Lol! He is my silly kid, always trying to be funny. Life is always more fun with Little Dude around. To make the pants even more stylish, I used some navy distressed grunge fabric from Allielane in Abbyville. You can find the grunge fabric here. She is always running special deals in her Facebook group. Luckily I bought several yards of this fabric, so i can make myself something as well. Here is a close up view of the fabric and the back of the pants.
