Little Miss Independent does convey a bit of Baby Girl’s personality. Even from a young age, she has desired to try to do things on her own. “Me do it!” I have learned, even though I know she may not quite have the ability to do something yet, to go ahead and let her try. Of course, as long as it is safe. If I do not let her at least try to do something, she will wine and cry. If I let her try and she fails, she will let me help her. I am so proud she does not give up even after failing several times.
So, when I saw all the fun options of the Summer Cut Files from Mamma Can Do It, I knew which one to choose. You may find the Miss Independent Cut File here. I used red and blue metallic silhouette heat transfer. You may find it here.
At first Baby Girl was not excited about her new 4th of July shirt, as there was no pink…. So we made a deal, that she could wear pink shorts. After actually putting on her new shirt, she decided she liked it. A few props helped as well. The foam patriotic star wand can be found here. The adorable USA 4th of July Centerpiece is coming soon to the Factory Direct Crafts blog. If you have not heard, I currently am also writing blogs post for the FDC blog! Super exciting! Feel free to check out Little Dudes Teacher’s Gift and Baby Girl’s Teacher’s gift. Let me know what you think!
