Welcome to the Back To School Sewing Patterns Blog Tour featuring Ellie and Mac sewing patterns. My two little ones recently started school and it is time for me to start sewing some more clothes. They have both grown so much over the last year. I cannot wait to show you Baby Girl’s new dress for school tomorrow.

The last couple of years we have taken a vacation right before school starts. This year we cut it close, coming home Sunday night and they both started school on Tuesday. It works well for us. The time change was an hour ahead, so it made them get up earlier and we were go go go on vacation, so they were able to adapt easily for long days. So, before I show you Baby Girl’s Back to School outfit tomorrow, let’s go ahead and say goodbye to summer (my favorite season).
Baby Girl, of course wore her Flamingo Swimsuit made with the Girls Tropical Getaway Swimsuit sewing pattern by Ellie and Mac, you may find it here. You can see my full review of the the Girls Swimsuit sewing pattern here. I love this pink swimsuit fabric from Simply by Ti. You may find it here.
I also made Baby Girl a new Rash guard using some Paw Patrol fabric. I have had this in my stash for awhile, so I will look up where I purchased the fabric.
She absolutely loved it. She has been obsessed with Skye from Paw Patrol for a long time. Although, she is starting to love other characters, her love for Skye is still there.
I also decided to make myself something for the trip.
My new Good Sport Tank is so awesome! I love this sewing pattern, yo may find it here. I used this Hello Beaches SVG file across the front of the front of the tank. I think it is a fun play on words. 😉 You may find it here. The pink swimsuit fabric from Simply by Ti worked great too for the tank (here)
The Canon Rebel T6i (here) that I used comes with wifi that hooks up to my phone, so I can focus in on my pictures, then set the phone down. While I was going through my pictures, I had no idea some Dude was photobombing me in the background. I literally laughed out loud when I saw it, as it is hilarious.
So, hello random dude in the background giving the peace sign. 🙂 I could of edited him out of the picture, but it was too funny.
The best part of the Good Sport Tank is the back. I love patterns with fun options, like this peek a boo back tank option.
You can also choose a back with a smaller peek a boo option with the Good Sport Tank sewing pattern. There is also an option for a curved hem. To see my full review of the Good Sport Tank, see my blog post here.
Since, this Good Sport Tank was made with Swim fabric, I did had to see how it would handle getting wet. So, in the the water I went.
It handled the water quite well. In fact, I kept it on for awhile. Since it was our last day at the beach before heading to Disney, it was nice to have a little more skin covered from the sun. This tank will also be great to wear at the gym while my littles are at school.
