Day 1 of my Getting Healthy Journey!

Getting Healthy, Make your own workout clothes. This post may contain affiliate links, please see the end of the post for more information.

Day 1! This was my post work out picture from Monday.  I have lost 10 lbs the last few months, but keep rollercoastering up and down in my weight. I lost most of my weight just by eating healthier. The things I struggle with the most dieting is eating food off the kids plates, eating snacks the hubby brings into the house and eating out.

Now that I have lost a few lbs we have joined the gym as a family and I plan to really hit the gym a lot for the next 30 days. Then try to build a manageable schedule after that.

I have a Mom Bod. Strong arms and legs from carrying around my kids, but a weak core. I have a belly, love handles and decent size derriere. If I wear tight fitting clothes, people ask me when my baby is due. I am not pregnant and had my last baby a little over two years ago. Luckily the Free Spirit Tank from Patterns for Pirates helps hide my belly. It is currently my go to work out tank. My capris are also from Patterns for Pirates; I used the FREE Peg Legs Pattern. I took a few inches out of the pattern piece since I’m only 5’0″ tall.

I am hoping to lose enough weight to feel confident enough to wear their Essential Tank to the gym. Who thinks I can get there??
